The Big List – K is for Kite

Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins

Karen Kane

This brand leans toward a “full lifestyle aesthetic” with the “addition of sportswear.”  The sportswear line includes yoga/lounge wear, hats and eyewear. The price point is between $25 – $160. The plus line includes basic bottoms and some nice print tops.  Overall, I would consider this a mature line. Plus sizing is from a 14W – 22W.

Kik

This company sells discount clothing in Germany.  The clothing is reasonably priced, but for now it is not being sold in the US.  There are plans to change this.  See the article here.

Kiyonna

When I think about Kiyonna, I think about the quintessential wrap dress.  She has those aplenty, but that are other things of interest in her arsenal.  She also has a wedding dress line and a modest swimwear line.  Prices range up to about $350 (but that’s the wedding dress line).  Prices for regular pieces are typically around $50 (give or take).  Her sizes range from 10-32.

K-Mart

K-Mart has always been one of those stores that I knew was nearby.  I’ve shopped there regular through the years, but never thought about buying any clothing there.  While searching the site, my first thoughts were that the clothing was mostly basics, though affordably priced (we’re talking under $10).  However, upon checking out the dresses, I did find a couple of pieces that were pretty special.  They also offer some basic pieces in activewear and swimwear.

KMK Designs

This is an Etsy site that specializes in Steampunk, Fairytale Wedding & Apparel.  They have a 5 star rating.  Prices are listed in AUD which converts (at time of posting) as follows:  1 AUD = 0.75 usd.  There are some gorgeous creations on this site.

Kristin Miles

Previously Missphit.  Trendy, fashionable plus-size clothes that actually fit.  Size 14 – 24.  Prices range from $10 – $20.

Kohl’s

For me, Kohl’s is one of those stores that has a tendency to carry boxy plus-size clothing.  I am not always a huge fan of the clothing, though I do like to shop there for accessories and shoes when they have sales.  Whenever I go, I do stop by the plus-size section (mostly because when I shop there I’m with my sister and she loves Kohl’s).  Occasionally, I will find a little surprise, so it’s worth taking a look.  Lately, some of their items makes me think they may be catching on.  For the time being, I’m keeping my eye on them.  Oh, and it’s worth taking a look at the website as a lot of times, the cutest items are online exclusives.  Prices range from about $30 – $150.
