A Touch of Spring
This has been a very interesting Winter. Not very many really cold days. A few here and there, but mostly very mild.
The other day, driving to work, I noticed that the cherry trees are starting to blossom. It’s giving me Spring Fever!
Early in the day, it’s still chilly enough for sleeves, which makes this Old Navy Pintuck Swing Dress (here in Feeling Corny, Coral Tropics, and Black) perfect, because it’s light enough that later in the day you’re not wearing something too heavy. I love that you can dress them up or down. The dress just feels very effortless to wear, plus it’s just fun!
I paired it with a pair of Torrid Faux Suede Scrunch Knee Boots.
I am in love with these boots!
When I bought them, I worried that they weren’t going to stay up because of the tie in the back. As it turns out, I never had a problem with them. I tied them on in the morning and they stayed up until I took them off.
The best part about these boots is that they are a substantial enough that you can actually walk in them all day comfortably.
The calf of the boot is wide enough so that you can wear them with either socks or jeans and still feel like you have plenty of room to spare.
My one caution is that because these boots are wide width, make sure you size down. This is the second pair of wide boots that I purchased from Torrid, and I’ve found that to be true in both of them. I’ve found that reading the reviews on-site is always super helpful in figuring out if there are any problems with fit or size. These were rated 5 stars and I totally agree! Currently, they are on sale for 25% off.
How about all of you, ready for Spring?
Thanks for stopping by.
