The Big List of Plus Size Shopping Sites – By the Numbers Addition

Song that inspired the title:  All Together Now Budweiser Commercial  (I thought I’d do something a little different and fun with the song this go round since the original Beatles version isn’t on Youtube.  If you’ll look carefully in the commercial, you’ll see the rabbit serving the tea)

Here’s the list of the Plus-size sites by the numbers.

17 Sundays

Their website states, “At 17 Sundays, we want to give every curvy girl the opportunity to feel sexy on date night, beautiful on a girls’ night out, sassy in a club and confident kicking around town.”  This is a small site that offers clothing in sizes 14 – 26.  Prices range from %60 – $140.

There isn’t a large offering of plus-size at this site.  Their website states, “Find here cute jackets, blazers, coats and shrugs! These outfit makers are wardrobe essentials for the office, school and going out. From stylish career blazers to cute coats to throw over your sexy mini dress, all for affordable prices!”  Sizes 1x – 3X or sizes 14 – 32.  Prices range from $10 – $50.

599 Fashion

The draw for the site is that everything is less than $10 and there are a lot of offerings for $5.99.  I have read mixed reviews about this site.  I have never had any experience with it, but after some considering have decided to include it with a disclaimer that I would be leery about buying too many things before I was sure it wouldn’t fall apart after one wash.  If you do decide to try it, watch the shipping rates.  I’ve noticed that sometimes the price is where the catch is.  Sizes from 1X – 6X.  Prices are under $10.

The site is a part of Zappos, Inc.  The 6pm site says that it’s the largest place to find designer fashion at lower prices.  Again, reviews are mixed.  In fact, it sort of boils down to a really, really love them with 5 stars or really, really hate them with 1 star.  I’ve recently been eyeing a Kate Spade “Go Fly A Kite” clutch. At Lord & Taylor, this bag is listed as $238.79 and at 6pm, it’s listed as $199.99. That’s a significant savings, as long as they don’t try to kill you on the shipping cost. If you have experience with this site, I’d be interesting in knowing (you know that Kate Spade bag needs to be in my life). There is a significant number of designer items in plus size from just about any plus-size designer brand you can think of.  Plus sizes run from 14W – 24W.

Know any others that I haven’t found?  Feel free to leave a comment.
